Sometimes the Truth Hurts :p
This is a sad reflection on Leinster rugby, Leinster being my provincial team, who lost horribly to another Irish team, Munster last Sunday in the European Semi-Final. I am quite glad that I was away in Frankfurt I don't think I could have coped with the thousands of Munster fans gloating in Dublin :p.
On a lighter and slightly less depressing note I read an article last week about concern in the Limerick that they would lose their status as a city because of the match. Limerick is a city in the west of Ireland so it is in Munster. It is also a huge rugby city and an estimated 20,000 people traveled to Dublin for the semi-final. On the same day the Census took place in Ireland. Officially the population of Limerick is 54,000 and in order to be a city by European standards there needs to be a population of minimum 50,000. City officials feared that the exodus of rugby fans from Limerick would threaten its status as a city and asked fans to return to Limrick immediately after the match so that the could offically be counted as living in Limerick....Well it made me laugh :)
And back to the matter in hand ie slagging off the Leinster team...Enjoy!!! (Aine you should particularly enjoy this one!!!)
