VISITORS :)

Lea came to visit this weekend, she arrived on Friday and apart from the early morning train ride out to the airport...(why is it so far away?..Why?) It has been great to have her here and to have the chance to go around Berlin as a tourist again :) It also means taking a break from working and studying which I really cannot afford but damn it is nice!

In general though, I love having people come visit me here in Berlin, I love being able to show them around my city, being able to introduce them to my favorite places in the city, to be able to share with them the spirit of Berlin and show them the things, the places, and the experiences that most tourists don't get to discover but that are part of what makes Berlin special.

Her visit has also brought it home to me that my time in Berlin is running out. I am horribly aware that the next two months are going to be chaotic and if I get to venture out of my room other than for exciting excursions to lectures, I will be lucky! So it is especially nice to have a chance to take time out just to wander around the city.
